In 2014, a closed beta was released to backers and a 2015 release was questioned. The developer, however, took the feedback from the beta and decided to not quite commit to the a date. As expressed on a Kickstarter post; HM has stayed the course to make sure the title releases with the quality fans are expecting.
HLD is a colorful 2D pixelated adventure featuring many locales and dangers. The solitary Drifter is on a quest within a dystopian future to discover its technological secrets. The game will also feature a wide array of weapons for players. HLD is inspired by games of the Super Nintendo-era, and as such, features no spoken dialogue. HM is hoping to release a well-received adventure that will provide an enriching story with music and visuals.
